I was reading this post in which the blog author was ranting over Clickbank's fishy products and what he called "unfair" policies employed by Clickbank. Is Clickbank a scam? How can we know the truth?
The blog author, for instance, sited an alleged unethical practice promoted by a Clickbank ebook "The Rick Jerk", which is also advertised and promoted by many Internet marketers.
"At this point, I've decided that ClickBank just isn't the right program for me and the sleazy nature of the cult of high pressure marketers surrounding the whole ClickBank affiliate program has me thankful that some of us have integrity and are not out to make a buck at the expense of others," the blog author said.
The blog author also lamented that Clickbank is allegedly giving more weight on scam-looking, money-making products while the good and quality ones are not highlighted.
Another ebook that the blog author lambasted is the Free Google Adsense info pack, which, according to one blog commenter, is "scandalous."
"Their policy is just the tip of the iceberg. They prefer scam ebook which convert well and pull in the $$$ over good honest products," the blog commenter added.
Reading the post, I realize that perhaps Clickbank, a legitimate business venture with over 100,000 affiliates, needs to improve the quality of its products in the marketplace as there are webmasters out there who are already falling away from Clickbank. There is one emerging competitor of Clickbank. Watch out. The name is Click2Sell.
